Melodies, Reverb, Campfire Guitars - Betty, Thom and Kusi from Zurich, Switzerland cannot get enough. They formed their band My Heart Belongs to Cecilia Winter in 2007 and released their self-titled debut EP in Sping 2008. Compared to bands like Death Cab for Cutie and The Breeders, they describe their music as "Cross-Country from the wasteland; between the Mamas and the Papas and the Jesus & Mary Chain". Their catchy yet erratic indie pop songs and their passionate gigs have earned them a growing fanbase in Switzerland. Now they plan to expand. Berlin Zitty Magazine praised: "If they practise some more, they might become the new Arcade Fire". "We are very enthusiastic about what we do" confirms Singer/Bassist Betty Fischer, "we are getting better with every show we play". And Thom Luz, Singer/Guitarist adds: "We grew together as a band in the lasts year - we?re like a hockey team. I think playing music with this band is my number 1 favourite thing in the world, potentially". But they suddenly fall silent when asked about Cecilia Winter. "It?s a secret" mumbles Drummer Kusi Gerber. "You know who it is, or you?ll have to find out yourself".
